Susan, You can write (or email) the Savannah Public library for obits and cemetery looks ups. I have both visited them and wrote them for assistance and the folks there were very helpful. I know they have the old newspaper obits and the cemetery index because I have used both. They generally will send you a copy for $2.00 plus 25 cents per sheet (two years ago).
