A very kind man is sending me a copy of a letter written by my ancestor, James Bond Grant, written immediately following the first Bull Run battle at Manassas, Virginia. James was a private in Company 'B' from Savannah, and the letter is reputed to be an excellent account of Company B's participation in the battle. Hopefully it will include references to other men in the Company from the Savannah area. Jim Johnson
