My great grandmother, Margaret McGhee (1st marriage, in KS) Mitchell (Mrs. Robert, 2nd marriage) died in Savannah sometime after 1948. I remember visiting her with my mother and grandfather when I was three or four, after she had had a stroke. I haven't been able to find a record of her death. Family stories place her residence in a place called Bonne Belle (sp?) My mother was able to prove her birth only by finding herself listed in the 1930 census for Savannah living with her grandmother. They lived on a farm. Does anyone know anything about this place?
