I have a brick wall I hope someone with access to Savannah records can help me with. I feel certain, my Thomas BECKHAM b. 1797 who can be found in Wayne and Glynn Counties Georgia was the son of Dempsey Beckham who died in Savannah, Ga 1818 on Colonel Martial's Plantation. He was an overseer. Does anyone have access to the probate records of that time? Perhaps a deed was written to Thomas or any information on Colonel Martial?
