Ours came from a John CONE Sr, born about 1750, who came to SC from England by 1787. He died April 27, 1801 in Barnwell District, SC, intestate. A lot of people have thought that all CONES in that area were kin, but I believe there were 3 different sets of CONEs there. Judy
