    2. Hi L. Mickler, I didn't have any of my Ferguson's in Atlanta in that time frame. And no John's at any time, that I'm aware of. Sorry Judi << I have a Virginia Papy who married John Tye Ferguson on 21 Apr 1967. I think they were living at 197 15th St., Atlanta, Ga. in 1967. I would like to know if they are still living, and if they have descendants. Would they be in your genealogy? L. Mickler >>

    2. The JOHNSTON I am researching is OWEN BENJAMIN HERBERT JOHNSTON. He was born in Charleston, SC in 1848 and moved to Savannah sometime before 1868 as I find him in Savannah Morning News as Treasurer for Marion Club (a new baseball club) in June, 1868. He married Ellen Pierson in Savannah in 1872 and remained there. He is buried in Laurel Grove. I am trying to find his parents. Only information on parents is 1850 Census shows Owen, 2 yrs. of age in Charleston with Mother, Margaret Johnson - 29 yrs, and sister, Elisabeth, 4 yrs. Census indicates they were in house with Joiner. Census records indicate father born in NC & mother in SC. Shirley

    3. I, too, am searching for Hamilton or Mathew Johnston, the son of Edward John Kent Johnston and Virginia Papy. He was born about 1857 in Fernandina Beach, Florida, I think. I am also looking for his sister's descendants: Dora Johnston, 12 Oct 1855-3 Feb 1920, married John B. Hopkins bef 1874. Known children were Marion Hopkins, b. ca 1874; Susan Hopkins, b. ca. 1876; Edwin Randolph Hopkins, b. 1880, d. 1946; Sophia Carrio Hopkins, b. 1881, died 1967 (did not marry), and possibly Harry W. Hopkins, 1883-1940. Dora and Sophia are buried in Bosque Bello Cemetery, Fernandina Beach, in the same plot with Edward and Virginia Papy Johnston. I don't know where John B. Hopkins is buried. I did not post Johnston to the list, but if these connect with any Johnstons in anyone else's genealogy, I would appreciate any information, and will share what I have. L.
