Hi everyone, My search Purvis, Carter, Youmans, Yeomans,Yeamens, Reddish, Wells from Liberty County, Ga, Tattnall County, Ga. The Groover, Gruber lineage I have info on, and also the Wells lineage., The Youmans side I know little about. I do know that a great grandmother was Clementine Youmans Reddish from Tattnall County, Ga (Glenville,Ga) and is buried at Watermelon Cemetery at Glenville, Ga, she was married to John Reddish, my grandmothers parents, any help on the Youmans, Yeomans, Yeamans lineage would prove helpful. I have no info on Charlotte Purvis either. The Jacob Carter and Jane Carter lineage I do have some info on, also g grandparents orginally from NC. I am enjoying reading the roll call surnames, this makes the list helpful and interesting, thanks Nancy for allowing the roll call for everyone. Bettye Wester

Hi everyone - Researching ROBERTSON and JOHNSTON in Savannah area 1700's to 1800's. Any help would be appreciated!
I am very much enjoying the Roll Call and hoping my family names will pop up to make a connection. Thomas (Joseph, John, Raymond, Lewis, Burrington, William C., Ida, Mary E., Adelaide, Hilda) Lavier English (Sarah) Haselton - Hazleton Anna Lora Fleming (daughter of Kline) Gabriella Bowie Thanks, Ann Thomas
Good Evening, My apologies to everyone for being behind in my reading of our list's emails. Roll Calls are great ways to begin discussions on the list and they help everyone know who our members are researching. As Hostess of the list, you'll never hear me complain about someone asking for a Roll Call. I love it when one of our members gets a little discussion going :-) That said, I'll add my two names to the list.......they are extremely elusive folks and I'm still standing at the fork in the road trying to figure out which road to take where they are concerned :-) YOUMANS/YEOMANS WILLIAMS Warm Regards, Nancy E Parr
Yes, we still have Burrough's in Savannah,Ga.
I have over 30,000 people in that Bryan file and I cannot now remember which one starts the ones from VA. We are moving from Lakeland, FL to NC in 2 weeks and we are packing like crazy. I was taking a minute off to look at emails and at least I sent you the other ones. Hope it helps Judy
Judy, I have a cousin of my father (Caroline Marshall) who married Thomas Cone. They live in FL. I believe his parents were from England. I think my grandmother and a few of her children stayed with the Cones in England for a time in the early 1900s. I wonder if they were relatives of the Savannah bunch, because my grandmother was from Savannah. She and her husband were in Germany. My gf worked for Best Foods, and had set up a Wesson Oil plant in Harburg. WW1 broke out and he sent his wife and 3 children to England. He had to stay behind, and was trapped in Holland. AWChassereau@aol.com states that both George J. and both wives are buried in Brooklet City Cemetery, Brooklet, GA. cdouberly@alltel.net researched Wealthy Ann and told me that Wealthy Ann was born January 11, 1855 and died October 6, 1930 in Bulloch County. She also said that Wealthy Ann was buried in Brooklet City Cemetery, Brooklet. She is hard to find. There were not many Duggars in Bulloch County. But I did find a William Duggar who married Margaret Futch on January 3, 1826. This couple is one I want to follow up to see whether they could be Wealthy Ann's parents. Sorry I don't have more. If you find anythin about her, let me know. She's my great grandmother. Jan Stewart
I have no idea, Judy. I've been looking for her origin for years. I keep hoping to learn she is a descendant of Georgia patriarch Jonathan Bryan. J. G.
