I just went to the Bonaventure Cemetary last week. There are volumes of names of folks buried there. The lady that answers the phone has been there 21 years. She knows sooooooo much about the cemetary. People before the 1800's are still on index cards and the rest from then are are in the volumes I mentioned. Don't have the number handy - but you could probably call her or write her. She would be the most helpful - time permitting. Happy New Year Everyone! Hope someone has an answer to a question I have ... in "Passenger and Immigration List Index, GA, 1736, 1322," pg. 92 it has PAVEY, Joseph (#958), Victualler, embarked, 1736 ..." Does anyone know what the #958 was? Would that be a passenger number? Also, does anyone know where I could find the name of the ship he came on? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Marsha In cold, snowy, central IL.
Joe Thank you for the info. I am afraid I cannot be more specific on any Kennedy names as we are at a brickwall with info on them that is before 1830. The first names of Daniel, David, Edmund, Henry, John, Samuel and Solomon are names seen in Emanuel County, Ga. I appreciate any info you can give me. Thank you in advance. Claudia
There are no Cannadys' and about fifteen Kennedys' can you be more specific? There is one CANADAY, Thomas that married a Miss Sarah Jane Delegal, 23 June 1832.
Jim, Have you taken down your Savannah site or changed the URL? The site below now comes up as not found.
