I have land & slave sales for this time period. He died in Plaquemines Parish in 1752. He married in 1840 to Hanna Frederika Hoffman. They meet the second Monday of the month at the Flint Electric Building, 900 Highway 96, Warner Robins, GA. That would be this coming Monday, the 14th. Good luck, and thank your son for his concern! 2. My suggestion is to contact a lineage society, i.e. DAR, UDC, SAR . They may be able to point him in the correct way. Also try a Historical Society. There also may be small churches in the area who have cemeteries and you might try that. I wish him good luck. Jane Hampton In a message dated 3/29/2008 10:03:19 A.M. 2. Texas Woman
    3. The March 15 deadline is quickly approaching for Transylvania County's new heritage book, "The Heritage of Transylvania County, North Carolina -- Volume II." Right now, there's still plenty of time to write and submit articles for the book -- for those who are willing to get busy and take action. And of course there's still time to order your copy of the book by the deadline. ACT TODAY! For full information on how to compile and submit articles for the new book, as well as how to order your copy of the new heritage book, please visit the project website: http://nc.county-heritage.com/transylvania/ On the website you can download a PDF of the heritage book brochure that includes full instructions for submitting articles. An article submission form and an order form for purchasing books is included. Sample articles to use as a guide are published in the brochure. If you need more information or help in any way with submitting articles or purchasing books, please contact the heritage book committee. Please contact Mary Galyon at (828) 884-5411, or Mary Lou Rhodes at (828) 877-4512. And of course please feel free to contact me by e-mail if I can help in any way. If you're in or near Transylvania County, heritage book brochures are available for pick up in Brevard at the Transylvania County Library, the Chamber of Commerce, and the Transylvania Times. Brochures are available in Rosman at Rosman Town Hall and at Jarrett's Store. Hurry, don't miss the deadline! The March 15 deadline is bearing down on us. There will be NO deadline extensions this time. If you have Transylvania County ancestors, don't let them be left out and forgotten, not given their rightful place in county history. How sad if a family has no one who cares enough to honor that family. Put your Transylvania County research or Transylvania related research to work in the most meaningful way possible! Give your hard-earned research lasting value by sharing it in this major published work. And by all means, don't miss this chance to order your copy of the book! 1. Hezekiah Anderson , Bulloch County to Telfair Co.
    2. Hezekiah Anderson's will was written the 10th of Feb. 1826 in Bulloch Co. GA. He he was concerned with the raising and education of his little children, which implies that there were several children in the home that were quite young. It is noteworthy that while Hezekiah Anderson could not write and made his mark on his will, he wanted his children to be educated. His will was probated Apr. 3, 1826. An assessment and inventory for the estate was entered into the courts on May 4th 1826, but his estate was not settled until 1833. Where are those little children now? Does anybody on this list have information of the descendants of Hezekiah Anderson? Were James , Joseph and William Anderson brothers? Need help on the descendants or any information on those probate records. Believe some of the descendants were in Telfair , Dodge or Pulaski Counties Any help appreciated
