I have just found out that a Sarah H. POSEY, daughter of Thomas POSEY and Mary HODGKINS, may be my ancestor. She supposedly married William B. CHRISTIAN and lived in Elbert Co. GA until about 1827. Then they moved to Newton Co. GA until late 1830, then they moved to Fayette Co. GA. I descend from their possible daugher, Lucinda Jane CHRISTIAN. Lucinda and her twin sister Eliza Jane were born on 2 Nov 1819. Lucinda married Nathaniel SHELLNUT in Fayette Co. GA in 1829 and Eliza married Barney WESTBROOK in Fayette Co. GA in 1837. Nathaniel and Lucinda settled in Carroll Co. GA, where Nathaniel founded the town of Bowdon. Any relatives out there? Any additions or corrections to this info? Vickie Elam White
