Hi, I would love to hear from anyone that thinks some of these folks sound familar. Abner Nixon is in the index for the 1850 & 1860 census of Randolph Co., AL (have not viewed either of these). He serves in the Civil War from Carroll Co. GA (His foot is amputated) and his is in the index to GA CSA Pensions as filing in Carroll Co., GA. He and his descendents have move to Carroll Co., AL by 1880 and seem to remain there though at least the 1920 census. I am also trying to determine if Abner is kin to the Nixons of Coweta Co., GA, some of whom ended up in Carroll Co., GA coincidentally by 1880, too. Thank you for your time.
