I'm looking for information on Sarah H. POSEY, daughter of Thomas POSEY, and her possible husband, William B. CHRISTIAN. They lived in Elbert Co. GA. I don't know yet where they were supposedly married or where Sarah was born, though. William and Sarah lived in Newton Co. GA in 1830 and soon after that were in Fayette Co. GA. I possibly descend from their daughter, Lucinda Jane CHRISTIAN, who married Nathaniel SHELLNUT in Fayette Co. GA in 1839. They eventually moved to Bowdon, Carroll Co. GA. Lucinda and her twin sister Eliza Frances were born in Elbert Co. GA on 2 Nov 1819. Eliza Frances married Barney WESTBROOK in Fayette Co. GA in 1837. They may have had a sister named Elizabeth who married Samuel COPELAND and a brother named John who supposedly lived in the Sandusky OH area during the Civil War years.
