REAVES born 1826 in GA. married Rebecca HUNTER (born 1827 in GA) in 1844 in Carroll County, GA. They are listed on the 1850 Carroll County, GA census. They had the following children: John Marion REAVES born 1845 in Carroll County, GA (married a HAYNES) Joseph Allen REAVES born 1849 in Carroll County, GA (married a MORRISON) James William REAVES born May 1858 in Carroll County, GA (married a FRENCH) Henry Richard REAVES born Dec 1858 (?) Carroll County, GA (married a BLAKE) Sarah Ann REAVES born 1860 in AL. (may have married a LIPHAM) Amanda REAVES born 1865 in AL. There maybe other children in this family that I am not aware of. Rebecca HUNTER's mother was Sallie _______ (maiden name unknown) born in SC. Rebecca also had a brother William HUNTER that married Mary Ann MORRIS in 1850 in Carroll County, GA. By 1860 John REAVES and his family were in Rockdale, Randolph County, AL. John J. REAVES' son John Marion REAVES married Charlotte L. HAYNES (born bet. 1841 and 1849) in 1864. I find a HAYNES family on the 1860 Northern Division of Rockdale, Randolph County, AL. Martha HAYNES age 44 or 46 Female Domestic Housewife $300 $200 born in GA can not read or write Thomas HAYNES age 23 Male Farmer born in GA Joseph HAYNES age 22 Male Farmer born in GA Lotty HAYNES age 19 Female D. House born GA Mary HAYNES age 17 Female D. House born GA attended school Martha HAYNES age 15 Female D. House born GA attended school D.M. HAYNES age 13 Male born GA attended school Charlotte HAYNES age 11 Female D. House born in GA attended school Nancy HAYNES age 10 Female born in GA attended school John HAYNES age 7 Male born in GA attended school William HAYNES age 4 Male born in AL. Living next door to this HAYNES family is Moses HAYNES, 87 born in VA, with Mary HAYNES, 34 born in GA and Jane POWERS, 52 born in GA. Living next door to Moses HAYNES is Joseph HAYNES, 58 born in GA with Charity HAYNES, 37 born in GA., Elizabeth HAYNES 9, born in GA and Moses D. HAYNES, 6 born in GA. Who was Martha HAYNES' husband? Are all these HAYNES related and how? Which one married John Marion REAVES, Lotty HAYNES or Charlotte HAYNES? I know this is my HAYNES family.
