Bowen dies Tuesday at Hutto Hill Funeral Services are held today at Lime Branch Andrew Jackson Bowen, 86, died at his home on Hutto Hill Tuesday night after an illness of two weeks. Funeral services were held at Lime Branch at 2 o'clock, Thursday, conducted by Rev. R. C. Knight and Rev Murl Hudson. Pallbearers were Jack Bowen, Lewis Bowen, Alvie Bowen, Harris Hitchcock, Stonewall Hitchcock, and Leo Mobley. Interment was in the adjoining cemetery with Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home in charge. Mr Bowen was born March 30, 1859 in Carroll County. He was preceeded in death by his wife on April 4, 1933. Surviving are two sons, Andrew and James, of Cedartown; three daughters, Mrs. Lizzie Hitchcock, Mrs. Fannie Hulsey and Mrs. Della Stephens, of Cedartown; three brothers, Will and Dave, of Cedartown, and George Bowen, of Texas.
