I saw a reference to this church today in the 1838 minutes of the New Hope Primitive Baptist Church in Villa Rica. My ancestor Edward HAYNES was asked to be Moderator at Altoona Church in 1838. Does anyone know if there are records or minutes for this church in the 1830's and 1840's? Thanks for any suggestions.
