On 1 November 1838 in Carroll Co. GA, Mary Ann BROWN, daughter of John G.W. BROWN and Sally CARRUTHERS, married Jethro N. "Jetty" PARKER, son of Allen and Nancy PARKER. Mary Ann was born 27 Oct 1816 in GA and died on 1 Nov 1893. She is buried in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetary in Carroll Co. GA. Jethro was born about 1815 in NC. The children of Jethro and Mary Ann were: John Bob, born abt 1840/1842, marr. Jane ____ Sarah M., born abt 1844 Caldonia, born abt 1847 Jackson C., born abt 1849 James M., born abt 1853, died after 1883, marr. to Mary ____ abt 1875 Nancy J., born abt 1855 Jefferson Jones, born abt 1858, died 1 Sept 1923 in Coweta Co. GA, marr. to Nancy Jane Alexander This family left Carroll Co. GA and relocated to Randolph Co. AL, in the part that later became Clay Co. AL (in 1866). The family left there and moved elsewhere in Alabama and then apparently returned to Georgia after 1880. If you have info on this family, please contact me.
