I would also be interested in this book. I remember seeing one at the Floyd County Library in Rome, GA several years ago. I have a book titled "The Sesquicentennial-Bicentennial Edition of the Carroll County Story - By the People." It was printed in May 1976. Although, it deals with the old communities, towns, churches, schools, business, and historic sites, it does contain a lot of photographs and names of the people associated with them. This book does NOT have an index. I received this book, several years ago, by calling the Chamber of Commerce in Carrollton and asking about it. The woman I talked to said that they still had several left over and was most happy to mail one to me, at no cost. I though that was really nice of them. I really enjoyed some of the photographs, such as the first school bus in America. This book contains 80 pages.
