To the list: I am trying to find information about George A. Wing who was married to Lena. The 1900 census shows George Wing b Sept 1844, England, and Lena b June 1853, in New York. In 1900 they had been married 20 years and had three children, and George was a farmer. George may have immigrated to U. S. in 1852 George Wing d prior to 1908 because Lena Wing married Bannister R. Morrow 22 Sept 1908. Mr. Morrow was b 22 Sep 1850 in Jonesboro, GA . He was married to Victoria Jane Floyd 30 Nov 1871. Victoria d 22 Dec 1906, Carrollton, GA. I would also like to contact anyone who might know Mr. Morrow. Lena Wing Morrow died between June 1912 and Sept. 1915 at Tallapoosa, Georgia. Lena was the step-sister of my grandfather, Charles S. Creek. He was named in her will leaving a lot on Spring St.. lot 152, block 42. She also left Mr. Morrow some money. She stated she should be buried beside her former husband, George Wing, late of Haralson Co, GA The will was filed 1 Sept 1915. Are any of these names found in the Haralson Co. history: Would appreciate any information from anyone who could help me with these people.
