Emily in Alabama >> My great grandparents "home place" is on the Whooping Creek Church Road and Whooping Creek is down the hill from their home - I think maybe even on their land. Still have relatives living there but don't remember exactly how to get there. We always went on Highway 27 from LaGrange GA and turned to the right on to the road before getting to Carrollton. You can also get there from I85 by taking Alternate 27 at Newnan, GA. I have several ancestors buried at a cemetary on Whooping Creek Church Road.
