Hello, I am looking for info on the TANNER family in Georgia. Ben TANNER lived in Carrol county at one time. He was born 1870 in Cherokee Co., AL, died in about 1960 in GA, is buried in Alpine Cemetery in Talladega Co., AL. At one time he was married to a SMITH. His brother John Thomas TANNER is my ancestor. John married Joanna JOHNSON. Also looking for info on Silas TANNER, b 1840, father of these men. He reportedly died in 1875 but place is unknown to me.
