Bill, The Carroll County, Genealogical Society library is in Carrollton, GA at the public library there. I have been getting their quarterly genealogy publications since 1990 and they are one of the best that I have ever seen, and well worth the annual fee of $20. to join. Here is their web site which has a little more info about them which includes the location of the library, their hours, phone number, etc. I live in Oregon and our libraries don't have alot on the southern states, so I have joined various Genealogical Societies like this one which has been a tremendous help for researching in Carroll County and nearby areas. Also have met some new cousins through queries in their quarterly publication. I was at the library in Carrollton, GA in 1996 and felt it was well worth the trip there for family research. The people at the library were extremely nice and helpful and I enjoyed my visit there. Can't wait to get back there again on my next visit to AL and GA areas.
