They were married 1-9-1881. They had children, Millie b. Nov. 1886, Jimie or James, b. Oct.1888, Henry b. May 1890, Mathew, b. March 1895, Jack?, b. March 1895 (twins I guest), and Deborah b. ? This information came from the Burke County Census. There is a land record Bethia Herrington Burke sold land to her daughter Emma Hurst. It is said that Bethia was a full blooded Indian. My husband states that some of his ancestors were from Sardis. I would be grateful for any information. Again thanks, Barbara
