I am searching for a Matthew Sharp, he was bn in Va. abt 1776. He was married to Elizabeth ?. His middle name probably began with a A, as Albert. His family were in Burke in the early 1800s then they moved on to west Georgia. His sons I think were Francis J, Esley(Easley), maybe Fielding and one of his daughters was Henrietta Elmira Sharp. This family in abt 1830 settled in Stewart county Ga. Family history states they were prominent citizens, most were Masons. I have seen a Sharp family in Burke with a son named Rufus, and I think they are related to this family but am unsure how as of now. If you can help me I would deeply appreciate it. Richard Sharp
