Hi, Brenda My husband is a Hurst, who has a Burke line in his family. His great grandmother was Bethia Herrington, who married AllenBurke, born 1844. One of their children was Emma Burke, born April 1882. Emma married Joseph/Joe Hurst. They are on the 1900 BurkeCounty Census, with one child, Ida Lee Hurst, Born Sept. 1899. Allen Burke had children, Millie, Jimie or James, Henry, Mathew, Jack?, Deborah. Bethia, was said to be full-blooded Indian. Hope this helps you Barbara
