Hi All, I'm looking for a Lucy Herrington (maiden name unknown). The 1900 Burke County Census had her listed as being around 70 years old visited by a son Jedediah (born. August 1847). Six of her ten children were living. I am trying to find out who Lucy was. She was widowed by 1900 and had a considerable amount of land and had some land transactions in Screven County (would love for anyone to look and see what else they could find as I'm in NC and don't get home as often as I'd like). If there's any information I would greatly appreciate it. I'm at a total loss. Please advise as I can't find too much more on her besides the Census, a will, and some land records.
