Hello everyone, I too am new to this list.. I am looking for a paticular Tipton that was born in Buke Co supposedly on 6, Jan 1839.. I know the initials of R. M. Tipton are on his death cert, and all other legal papers.. I have found a Rueben Tipton in the 1850 Ga Census in Burke County he has a child named Romeo, Now if this is my Tipton I can understans why he goes only by initals..
