Alexander James Lawson, Sr b. 1796 Liberty Co. and Barbara Tuttle Lawson of Waynesboro, Burke County had two sons who married sisters. John F. Lawson B. 1821 married Martha D. Martin of Bibb County Edward F. Lawson (Judge) b. 1835 married Leora Aziline Martin. The sisters were the children of John Martin of Bibb County (born Rockingham, NC) and Eliza Julia Walker (b.
