Sheryl, Thanks for a very interesting post! I am searching for the parents of Anne Thomas, b. 18 Sept. 1825 Newberry SC., d. 20 Oct. 1908 Miller Co., Ga. ( earlier part of Early Co.). Anne, her sister, Amelia Thomas Clelland, and six other unknown parties were heirs of Josephus and Elizabeth Thomas of Newberry, SC (who received a land grant in1775). Anne and Amelia had to have been grandchildren of Josephus and Elizabeth, inheriting in their father's place. Anne a married Mr. Young, maybe Ernest Young before 1855. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
