Happy new year! Trying to connect loose ends from the previous millenium and am very interested in the content of the message you sent me back in October. I have enclosed it below to refresh your memory as to what I am referring. I'm sure I would have at the instant I received this message replied and thanked you, normally I have enough couth to do that. If not please accept my apologies and I now thank you for your kindness. What apparently is the story here is that Nathaniel MILLER who settled Burke Co 1759 came to this area from eastern shore of MD his mother was an ALEXANDER, Mary ALEXANDER and they were in the New Munster area of Cecil Co MD but had previously been in somerset MD. They came to this country from Ireland and were Scots by all accounts that I can find. QUESTION! Are you descended from the ALEXANDERS? or were you just trying to help me out of my sink hole in the wall I cannot seem to cross? I need to correspond with others of the ALEXANDER family of Burke Co GA to see what they might know that I don't know. Can you help me contact such folks? Thanx again Charles. Don't worry bout me, I'm as organized as a henhouse full of chickens. ----- Original Message ----- From: <HILLISGA@cs.com> To: <GABURKE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, October 24, 1999 6:19 PM Subject: Re: Alexander, Burke County, Cemeteries > Hi Charles, > The earliest listings for Alexanders are English Crown Grants: > Alexander, David.
