Dear Jack, I'm sorry to hear you've been ill. By 'all' you must men you still have children at home. It's tough when you have a houseful of sickies. Apparently nobody told you beer wards off the flu. Ha! I like the stuff, but I limit myself to a couple a year. I get a hangover with just one. I'm a real sissy when it comes to alcohol. I've really been lucky this year. I thought I was coming down with a cold last Tues., but turns out it was just my sinuses-it was gone the next day. Did you try that new medication everyone is talking about for the flu? Several years ago, all three of my boys and I had it at the same time. I took them to their pediatrician and he prescribed some kind of drug they use to treat Alzheimer patients. In about 48 hours we were all fit again. I described it to my sister, (she has a masters in nursing) and she said it could have caused halucinations. I was a teenager in the 60's but I never went on a "trip"! I'm going on a little trip Saturday. I'm meeting another Oglesbee cousin in Charlotte to do some research in the library there. I sure wish you did'nt live so far away. I'm enjoying meeting all my new cousins. Cheryl was an Oglesbee and married a Flowers. Her mother died and her dad remarried a real wicked old stepmonster. When Cheryl's dad died, Cubie (the stepmother), went to all the family shindigs, and Cheryl never got to go. She didn't even know about them. So, I've been filling her in on all the stuff she's missed, and sent her all my records and books on the Hillises and Oglesbees, and so on. She's a descendant of Richard Oglesby>William>Jasper Newton>Jasper Charlie (mar. Savannah Lottie Hillis)>Tom Wright >Cheryl. And the Hillises have the same Oglesby line to Richard>Martha (mar. Jacob Hillis>Richard Hillis>Savannah Lottie Hillis . I think that makes us uh.....double second cousins 4 times removed? I never quite got the hang of figuring cousins. Well Jack, I'm rambling on again. I still haven't finished the Ogilvie-Nova Scotia file I'm working on. Maybe next week. It's always good to hear from, I just hope you're feeling better. I'll write again soon. Sheryl
