I just got back from the State Archives and thought some of you folks might like to know that they have in their old Colonial files [this was before counties were established] copies of: 1. Boul Miller will, wife Elizabeth, son Frederick, son John Boul lived in the swamp on Bear Creek owned lots in town of ebenezer. 2. Elias MILLER lived on Bear Creek son william wife Martha will dated Nov 1769 St George's Parish 3. James MILLER of Savannah 15 May 1762 4. John Boul MILLER wife Anna, son christopher, brother in law John Lang or Taug these are hard to read. My Mother in law Catherine Lekinger, appears that his wife was currently pregnant when he wrote the will 18 Feb 1770. 5. Palser MILLER of Savannah wife susannah sister Mary Strable dated 1761 6. Robert MILLER of St. John's Parish 2 grand daughters Martha and Magdalene 7 children as; James, Samuel, Daniel, Elizabeth Clark, Judith MILLER, Mary MILLER, Harriet MILLER no wife that I can see dated 1773. \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ They also have a bunch oif old conveyances e.g. deeds gifts etc. from these early times in GA many are indexed so finding them is not too hard to do reading the old writing is the difficult part. Most of this stuff applies to the southern eastern corner of GA which was settled first around Savannah. Don't worry bout me, I'm as organized as a henhouse full of chickens.
