Hi Nancy, I have: John Deal was born in 1755 in Deal, England. He died in Western NC. He had the following child: Simon Deal was born in 1779 and died on 7 Nov 1837. I also have: MATTHEW GAY was born Abt. 1780 in Franklin County, NC, and died August 27, 1843 in Emanuel County, GA. He married MARTHA DEAL March 10, 1804 in Bulloch County, GA, daughter of JOHN DEAL and MARY ?. I think Simon and Martha were brother and sister. I haven't keyed my Deal or Gay information into my genealogy program yet, but I have a Deal file I can send you, if you want it. I also have a Gay file, but I think you sent me that one! But they lived in Bulloch Co. area and had a dau. named Martha Deal who married Matthew Gay March 10, 1804 in Bulloch Co., GA. And wasn't Simon Deal Martha's brother???
