I am sorry if I sounded a little put out-but there were other messages added to the one Mrs. McElveen sent out- People just kept adding to it I guess and I did not see them until I had deleted most of them- again -I am sorry if I had sounded a little cold about it- Peggy ----- Original Message ----- From: "FLD" <fdy@comcast.net> To: <GABULLOC-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, April 05, 2004 9:49 PM Subject: Re: [GABULLOC] CHANGING SUBJECT > One time was sufficient. 30 times was not required. > Faye > > > At 10:39 PM 4/5/2004, you wrote: > >TO MCSWAIN::: > >Mrs McElveen was only letting any body who had sent her DECEASED HUSBAND an > >email that he has passed and that HIS EMAIL ADDRESS would be discontinued. > >READ WHAT SHE SAID!!!!!!!!!!!!! > >S Lamb > >----- Original Message ----- > >From: "McSwain" <PMCSWAIN@peoplepc.com> > >To: <GABULLOC-L@rootsweb.com> > >Sent: Monday, April 05, 2004 11:27 PM > >Subject: Re: [GABULLOC] CHANGING SUBJECT > > > > > > > I do suggest that You CHANGE the subject of the e-mail when replying- I > >have > > > just deleted this same message over 30 times- just to find another message > > > was attached to it- > > > ----- Original Message ----- > > > From: "J. 3. When I saw all the messages, it was very obvious to me that Mrs. McElveen knew nothing about the mailing lists or even that the messages showing up on her deceased husband's email were even from a mailing list. I'm sure that to her it just looked like a lot of messages to her husband from a lot of different people and she was doing the only thing she knew to do. Why didn't someone just email her privately and explain what all this was about,,or maybe that is finally what has happened. Please, everyone, remember to be tolerant of the uninformed and uninitiated and not be too quick to judge. I know exactly how it feels to be on the receiving end due to inexperience or ignorance..
