Hi This is yet, another plea to the [GABULLOC] list to see if there might be any new (or veteran) members out there who have a connection to my THOMAS JONES, Sr. and his family; and more so, any source to who his parents were? According to my files, my Thomas was born in 1775 NC? and died circa 1835 in Bulloch Co., GA. This is not the same Thomas JONES who was later found to be in Thomas County, GA...although I'm almost sure he is related. My Thomas married Martha Denmark April 17, 1796 in Bulloch Co. I do have Thomas and Martha's children listed and portions of their families. One of of their offspring was my ggg grandfather ALLEN JONES who was born in 1800 and died 1875. He married Nancy "Ann" Cone on Jan. 16, 1823 in Bulloch Co., GA. Several list members have already offered info./help and for this I am grateful. I still have a long way to go. Any amount of information or suggestions that anyone may have which will aid me in finding out more about my Thomas and/or his parents will make this ol' JONES boy very happy...even a lead which could aid me in connecting to other descendants (or researchers) of this family. I do have my supposition that William Jones (b. circa 1750), son of Francis JONES, Sr. is Thomas' father?...but due to insufficient sources/documentatin, I'm not positive on this parent.
