(Scarborough spelling) entry under the James Parker, Sr. Family. Hardy C. Parker, born April 17, 1825, married Sarah Scarborough on Sept. 9, 1847, p. 249, ibid.. 4. Entry under The Churches of Screven County. Little Horse Creek Baptist Church was constituted Jan. 8, 1832, about a mile from its present location. The first members were H. C. Howard, Azariah Ennis, Thomas Sasser, James Parker, Sr., O. Jeffers, Jemima Scarborough, Clara Sasser, Elizabeth Parker and Mary Newton. M. N. McCall was the first pastor, p. 82, ibid.
