My Great Grandmother was Eugenia Natalie Foy Dutton married to Thomas Absalom Dutton of Egypt. She was the daughter of George Washington Foy and Ann Rebecca Dasher and Thomas was the son of Samuel Dutton and Sarah Hagin (Hagan) of Bullock Co., Georgia. My Great Grandmother made this quilt top for her sons Thomas Absalom Duttons and it was presented to him in 1891. It was embroided on muslin in 24 squares with red lettets and pictures in each.
