    3. I suggest that you continue to search the files at the local Fammily History Center (FHC) and look at all census files that you can find. Don't ingnore the agricultural census - lots told there. When you cannot find any more information in the federal files, start with the county and state. I have had much success locating both sides of my family this way. My problems are dealign with the :"living" they are quite "closed mouth". The ones who share are not the direct line and are limited in knowledge. Bulloch County Library has a wonderful genealogy section and contain lots info on all local people who submit information on their famillies. Look for books by Alvanette K. Register and you will be able to locate a lot of information on marriages, probates, etc. I have talked with the Libarian there and have even visited it last year. A mother lode of information if ever there was one. I purchased the 1870 and 1880 Census and keep it close by. Worth the investmet! Also keep in mind that boundary lines changed a tad and what may have been in Bulloch may really be in Calder, or other surrounding counties. Keeping searching. It is there.
