His enlistment is signed by Captain Rawls for a period of 3 years or war. >He was paid a bounty of $50.00, he apparently received an issue of clothing as I have the receipt for that. >He was present at roll call Nov & Dec 1863, then another receipt for clothing in 1864. but they were unable to find any more records for him. >I know that story has been told down through the generations.
