I'm not a, direct, Dutton descendant, but because of my connection to Ann Theresa Cox, 2nd wife of Henry Dutton, and the inclusion, of Henry's immediate family records, in my program, I wonder if any of the Dutton descendants might share, if known, the cause of death of Henry and his youngest daughter Martha. It is curious that Martha died on June 25, 1851 and her father, Henry, two days later, on June 27, 1851. Also, would the following information be for John Wesley Dutton, son of Henry and Mary Wilson Dutton? Per Muster Roll of Company 1, 9th Regiment [Toomb's Guard], Georgia Volunteer Infantry, C.S.A., Bulloch Co. GA. John W. Dutton, Private, June 10, 1861, Deserted to enemy, Savannah, GA., March 26, 1865. Took oath of allegiance to U.S. Gov't., [there] March 27, 1865. (W.R.). And finally, my question still stands regarding Joseph Dutton and Andrew Dutton (also son/s of Henry and Mary Wilson Dutton) listed in 1850 census as individuals and not one person. Will appreciate any help......thank you, S. Jones
