Morning, I have been reading your messages on the Bullock Web page regarding the Alvarette Kenan Registers, book on Bullock Co. Will you look up a couple names for me, I have been thinking of buying it, the names are Dutton, Hagan, Williams. My Great Great Great Grandfather was Henry Dutton, and his son was Samuel Dutton married to Sarah Hagin. There were lots of children and wondered if they were included in this book. Most of them are buried in Bullock and Effingham Co. Do you know if there are any more good books on the county and its people that are available. Not sure if and when I can get back to Georgia. Jackie, there are so, so, so many entries on those families, all of them. I am so swamped with requests that I am afraid that I might let you down by having to wait so long. If you would like to purchase it, I would recommend it because you have so many surnames in Bulloch Co. It is not bad, I don't think, price wise. Gosh, just about any book that is soft or hard cover that the Statesboro Library, [email protected] has is great primary reference material. Included are their cemetery lists, deed books, census records, and etc. If there is one name that is really stumping you, please email me back and I will look that up. I am beginning to think, unfortunately, that the Bulloch Co. Williams are mine, also...hundreds of Williams, like the Jones family...I'll have get a new file cabinet just for those 2! Let me know.
