Purvis, Avery Married Sarah McCall 6/7/1827 Chatham Co. GA My question is this. Can anyone tell me about John Purvis and Zaphi Cone? I am trying to find the parents of Charlotte Purvis b 1830's who married John REDDISH in Tattnall Co in 1856. She may be a 'orphaned' sister to LaFayette Purvis. There is a Zilpha Purvis on 1850 census for Appling Co. No husb. Did john die or divorce her or just be away fishing? Any information will be appreciated. Elaine
