Sheila, this might be a long shot as to what a family name might have been prior to your information listed, but the name REMER WILLIS or WILLIS REMER were two sons, a WILLIS YOUNG and a REMER YOUNG, both children of WILLIAM YOUNG of Screven County who died in 1815. The reason that I mention this is because the YOUNG family seemed to have named most of their children, and there were numerous lines from the original 8 or 9 children of the original William Young and his wife, MARY HENDERSON, and in other families not blood related, the name REMER shows up as a honorarium to whichever generation of the Youngs named Remer or Willis at the time. Does that make any sense? I don't know about marriage and death records for them. Does anyone know of a Young daughter who married into the HART family after c. 1850?
