I was interested to see a Soloman Thompson listed as a sibling of Archibald Thompson. The earliest ancestor that we have been able to trace is Solomon Thompson. He had a son named James Russell Thompson. We have been unable to find any information on parents or siblings for Solomon. Our Solomon wound up in Wilkinson County and died there o/a 1820.
