We have the MCELVEEN book written by Lucy Deal Garland in 1978. If you have a copy, the Kenneth McElveen on the last page (I wish to thank the following people........) is my husband's brother. His mother is Sybil Anderson McElveen (90 yrs. old), dau. of Frank ANDERSON and Ruth PROCTOR. We have the book "The Proctor Family" and the index has many listings for DEAL; 2 Alberts. I am researching the BANKS family trying to find parents of my grandmother, Mittie Eugenia Banks b.16 Jul 1873, married Perry Morgan HODGES of Nevils community. My father was Charlie Morgan HODGES married to Nina Ruth LEWIS, granddaughter of Hamp SIKES of Evans Co (Sikes Chapel). My parents & grandparents are buried at Middleground Primitive Baptist Church. Kathy, which generation were you talking about in making a connection between John Deal and Albert Deal families? In the last 50 years? If so, I believe they were brothers.
