    1. [GABULLOC] Re: GABULLOC-D Digest V01 #61
    2. I am still looking for information on the RICHARDSON's of Bulloch, Screven and Effingham Counties, pre-1850's. I have just been communicating with several "cousins" online who have provided some real movement in my hunt! Benjamin RICHARDSON (b. NC) married first Ann JONES, d/o John JONES; and second Sarah MIZELL. There were at least 3 sons of the first wife, including Amos, William and Hardy. William stayed behind in Bulloch County when Hardy and some of his stepsiblings and their families moved west to Louisiana and Mississippi, about 1805-1809. My ancestor was Jane RICHARDSON, reputed to be the daughter of Amos and Nancy (?) RICHARDSON. Amos died about 1800 in Bulloch County. Are there any RICHARDSON descendants from this family who stayed behind in GA who might have some additional information to share? Who as Nancy (?), wife of Amos? Did they have other children? What happened to Amos's brother William and that family? Robert S. Davis's book on Revolutionary Soldiers and patriots, includes Hardy and William who enlisted in 1782 as Privates supposedly as part of their allegiance "pennance" in the face of accusations that the family had "Tory" leanings !!
