I actually have a photo (taken by me in July 2003) of the current Nevils Creek Church, which is on the same road (Nevils Creek Church Road) on which my my husband's brother lives, near the community of Portal. My husband's paternal grandmother, Margaret Hendrix Mallard, is one of many consecutive generations who have attended Nevils Creek since its establishment in the 18th century.
