    1. Questions for researchers on Rowe, Phillips, and Bradley? in 1900 Bulloch Census Sinkhole Distr.
    2. Kathy McElveen
    3. I'm hoping someone on the list can provide some info or a clue as to the identity/families of the adopted PHILLIPS children living with the Wilkinson and Tillman families. Also, the Annie ROWE, widow, living with Jane (James?) BRADLEY. Who was the husband of Annie ROWE and what is relationship with BRADLEY? (Note the unnamed male BRADLEY also living with the James Wilkinson family.) All of these households were in fairly close proximity in the Sinkhole Distr. of the 1900 Bulloch Co. census and I suspect this may have been in the portion of Bulloch that became Evans Co. in 1914. 1900 Bulloch Co. Census, 44th GMD (Sinkhole Distr.): Below is exactly how it appears in the census transcription (by Hulda Kelly, 1986; reprinted in 2000 by Statesboro Library). I have not seen the original census pages. DW#315/FM# 317: Wilkinson, James (?) * Head WM Oct 1823 76 M 4 GA GA GA Farmer Hattie Wife WF Mar 1857 43 M 4 1 1 NC NC NC James K. (?) In the 1910 Bulloch Co. Census (Sinkhole Distr.): I find no listing for any of the PHILLIPSs, or Annie ROWE. There is no listing for James H. Wilkinson household, since James H. Wilkinson died in 1900 shortly after the census was taken. (Don't know where his wife (2nd), Hattie went.) The Benjamin Wilkinson household has no Lula PHILLIPS "Adopted" living with them. There is a DANIEL BRADLEY, boarder, age 18, living with the Harmon LEWIS family. (Could this possibly be the Edward, Daniel/David, grandson, living with Jane (sic-James?) BRADLEY, widower, & Annie ROWE in the 1900 census?) I find no listing for a Charles Tillman household in 1910.
