    3. When I printed my pages at the store yesterday, I increased them to 150% and the were still to small to read without a magnifying glass. If it is not too much trouble and you already have them done larger, I would appreciate a re-send. Thanks so much. I would therefore like to offer to RE-SEND the pages to anyone who previously received copies from me that were not legible or easy to read. I apologize to anyone who received a hard-to-read booklet, and please don't be afraid to tell me if you received a poor quality copy. The new pages should be larger and clearer. I am clearly a computer novice! Thanks again, C, for your help today. I will have all re-scanned copies emailed between today and tomorrow. 1. Nevil's Creek, Elder S.M. Anderson, Calvin Marsh
    2. Carol Miller
    3. Thanks again Kelli for sending the Nevil's Creek booklet to me. I found several names of interest, one of which was Elder S.M. Anderson. Does anyone know if there is a list of when each pastor served the church? Or when the listed members attended the church? This information would help place some of these people and their movements. I think S.M.Anderson is Swain Marsh Anderson b 10-24-1846, a brother of my great-grandmother Elizabeth Anderson b 12-1840 Emanuel Co Ga. Swain Anderson was also an elder of Old Canoochee Baptist in Emanuel County, though I'm not sure of the exact years he served there. Swain and Elizbeth's parents were Arelzaman Anderson and Mary Marsh, both born 1820 Emanuel Co Ga. Elizabeth married Calvin Gay b 5-3-1837 of Bulloch County, son of Wiley Gay b 1815 and Betsey Jemina Bowen b 1815. Elizabeth's mother,Mary, and siblings were listed in Emanuel Co in 1850, her father apparently deceased. Elizabeth then shows up in Bryan Co with her husband Calvin Gay in 1860. Elizabeth and Swain and their families are listed back in Emanuel Co in 1870. I have no record of their mother after 1850. I wonder if she moved to Bulloch County, possibly under a new married name. Her other children were Mary Ann b 1843, James M. b 1844, Joseph b 1849, and Nancy Ann b 1852. The only one of these remaining siblings that I have further information on is Joseph. I think that the Calvin Marsh listed on the Nevil's church roll was Mary's brother James Calvin Marsh. Mary's parents were James Marsh b abt 1795 and Mary Brown of Emanuel County. Mary was from Emanuel Co, but I haven't traced James's family yet for sure. I think his father may have been a James Marsh of Marion Co S.C. I think that the James Calvin Marsh b 1822 who later lived in Bulloch County was my 2great-grandmother's brother, and that they are probably the Calvin Marsh and the Caroline Marsh listed in the Nevil's church records. I am interested in any information regarding this family. Thanks, Carol B. Miller
