    2. Fran, The Bulloch 1860 census has a Joseph Scarborouh, age 3, son of Absolom and Damaris Scarborouh. The Bulloch 1870 census has a Joseph A. Scarborough, age 12, son of Abson and Drucary Scarborough. The Bulloch 1880 census has a Joseph Scarber, age 22, head of household with a wife, Lucinda, age 18, and a son, Bryan, age 2. The reason I ask is that there was a very prominent Scarboro family across the Ogeechee River from Bulloch Co in Screven County, along the old Louisville Road.
