Hello looking for family in Bryan Co? ....my main research names are Kennedy there, the below is some of my correspondance with people trying to find my gggg- grandfather Francis Kennedy/Cannady's roots. I think he was born about 1750-52 do not know where. He was in NC at one point as well as Ga. Believed he died in early 1800s Bulloch Co. Ga., a lot of his family moved on down into Bryan and then Appling Co. Ga. Dottie, Francis Kennedy was among the early settlers in Bulloch County, of which Statesboro is the county seat. There are lots of Kennedys in this area,Bryan and also Candler County today. In a quick look I find that apparently there was a Francis Sr. and a Francis Jr. In the early 1800's Francis is mentioned in court records, land transactions, etc. as a commissioner in Bulloch. 1803, 1804...
